Professor Zhaohui Wu, President of Zhejiang University, and Song Peng, Deputy Executive Director of the Shanghai Science and Technology Innovagtion Promotion Office，visted SIAS on July 6th, 2020. Dean of SIAS, Ruhong Zhou welcomed them.
While at SIAS, President Wu first expressed gratitude to Shanghai Municipal Government, Shanghai Science and Technology Promotion Office and other relevant official bureaus for their constant support to Zhejiang University, and SIAS, an important affiliate of ZJU based in Shanghai.
Wu said that since the signing of the agreement between the city and the University in June 2020, the University has been making full efforts to promote the construction of the institute of higher research (SIAS). By taking Computing + as a starting point, and serving the economic and social development of Shanghai, Zhejiang University is giving full play to support the development of SIAS and is hoping to link its academic network with global high-end talents.
