Lou is the Deputy Dean of Shanghai Institute for Advanced Study, Zhejiang University. Cocurrently, he is the Deputy Secretary of Zhejiang University Alumni Association, and serves as the Vice President of Alumni Branch to the Computer Science and Technology College (Zhejiang University). He is mainly in charge of building and maintaining academia-industrial relationships with corporate partners, and enabling transformation of scientific research into societal applicable innovation.
